Agenda: Discussing Stability in Bangladesh in lieu of the Civil Crisis
Bangladesh stands at a delicate crossroads as political unrest, economic strain, and social divisions threaten national stability. In this committee, delegates will examine the roots of the ongoing civil crisis and assess its implications for governance, regional security, and human rights. Through informed debate, participants will explore pathways to restore stability, strengthen democratic institutions, and ensure long-term peace while balancing internal challenges with international responsibilities.

Monit Gajjar
Assistant Director
Anagha Unni is the perfect blend of kindness and ruthlessness, making her a brilliant delegate in any committee. As a chair, she is both a mentor and a guide, ready to help you navigate any obstacles that may arise during committee sessions. To get on her good side, play Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter- she’s always eager to discuss or sing along (and contrary to her jokes, her singing is actually quite impressive). Outside of committee, Anagha is a chatterbox who loves making new friends and sharing her infamous “jokes”, which are extremely terrible. They’re the type that’ll make you groan, then laugh, and then question who you surround yourself with and what you’re really doing in life. Other than being an extremely intelligent genius (please do not spend more than 2 minutes with her, you will not find this to be true), Anagha’s also known for her infectious laughter and positive energy. If you're lucky enough to be in her committee, buckle up for an Unni-mistakable MUN experience, filled with note-worthy debates, clause-trophobic crisis updates, and humor so funny, you’ll need a motion to suspend laughter. Monit excels at his ability to blend up speeches with humour as well as intellect. As a believer in adding a bit of wit and pizzazz to every POI or speech, he appreciates delegates who can grasp the committee with their ability to utilise research to its potential outside their assigned country. Any delegate who has the ability to pair theatrics, such as sports or pop culture references, along with their research is sure to gain the attention of Monit. Outside of the committee, he loves football both on and off the field. From debates on who is better between Ronaldo and Messi (Ronaldo wins), to how badly Arsenal will bottle the premier league once again– Monit loves engaging in conversation about anything related to football. One thing’s for sure, when you’re on Monit’s committee, you can be sure it will leave you with an unforgettable experience. (Written by Monit Gajjar)

Vedant Agarwal
Assistant Director
Ah yes, Vedant Agarwal. Where does one even begin? For starters, his presence in committee is usually announced by a calm confidence that very quickly turns into some of the sharpest, most well-constructed arguments you will hear all weekend. Backed by research that somehow manages to be both exhaustive and frighteningly specific, Vedant has an uncanny ability to dissect debates down to their core and rebuild them in a way that suddenly makes everyone else rethink their stance. He is meticulous with procedure, quick to spot logical gaps, and never misses a chance to call out shaky reasoning, usually with a perfectly timed point that leaves the room equal parts impressed and slightly exposed. That said, beneath the precision and the intimidating grasp of policy lies someone genuinely invested in making committee enjoyable and accessible for everyone. Whether you are a first-time delegate confused about caucuses or a seasoned MUNer debating fine procedural details, Vedant is always patient, approachable, and more than happy to help. He thrives on good discussion, thoughtful questions, and delegates who are willing to engage seriously with the agenda. And if you ever catch him outside committee, don’t be surprised if the conversation drifts to his interests, because he can talk just as passionately about them as he does about geopolitics. So while he may seem intense at first glance, a committee chaired by Vedant Agarwal is one where debate is sharp, learning is constant, and everyone leaves feeling a little more confident than when they walked in.
