IAEA

Agenda: Debating upon an international framework for nuclear waste management

The promise of nuclear energy comes with a silent but formidable challenge—waste. As countries expand their nuclear capabilities, the issue of long-term waste management looms larger than ever. In the IAEA, delegates will attempt to craft an international framework that balances scientific innovation with environmental responsibility. Can diplomacy keep pace with technological advancement, or will the world remain vulnerable to a ticking radioactive time bomb? The clock is ticking.

Suhanee Soni is not a real person. She’s not real. There is no way someone this unhinged yet simultaneously the chillest guy to actually exist. One minute she’s doing math for fun (like, voluntarily), and the next, she’s obliterating people in squash, channeling her inner rage into smacking a ball so hard it questions its existence. No thoughts, just parabola calculations and pure violence.

Finding her in a crowd is easier than convincing her that watching Netflix while doing assignments isn't a legitimate study method—just yell “Pizza is mid” or “Italy is overrated”, and she’ll teleport to you with a 10-page dissertation on why you're wrong. (Delegates, take notes—flattery about Italy = instant favoritism.) She went there once, and now she thinks she has diplomatic immunity. As a chair, she is the perfect mix of chaos and competence. She will roast you, humble you, and then somehow make you feel like you just had the best MUN experience of your life. Baddies pose for her, resolutions bow to her, and delegates fear her. She’s got the knowledge, the logic, and the power to humble ANYONE in 0.2 seconds FLAT. A chair, a scholar, a walking think tank, delegates, come prepared, because you’re in her committee now. Say hello to Ahaan Kapadia, someone who simply can’t put down his love for MUN (and yes this is a reference to his favourite artist– Dave Blunts). His love for MUN leaks into his thoughtful POIs, elegantly dramatic speeches, and of course, his use of Katy Perry songs. He is truly like a Firework in committee and he makes his competition feel like a plastic bag. However don’t let his fierce nature fool you, talking to him will make you sing Lalala like Baby No Money. As a chair, he is without a doubt your biggest asset, with him being highly approachable with brilliant insights. He loves dramatics in speeches, paired with FACTS; they must be everywhere. To get on Ahaan’s good side (which isn’t difficult), anything ranging from agreeing with his appalling choice of sports teams (Tottenham and the Philadelphia 76ers), to appreciating his abilities, including but not limited to his weird obsession for Brawlhalla and capacity to eat quesadillas (or any other food he wants to eat that hour) will do. Ahaan, like his favourite movie, is the whole Package, and with him as your chair, you are guaranteed an engaging and beautiful committee! (Written by Ayaan Wadhwa)
